It Is Official ! A Bloggers Vintage & Hand Made Fair
Some of you may have heard already, that a group of bloggers...me included here, will be holding a Vintage and handmade Fair in November. It would be lovely to see some of you there. We are hoping to have lots of scrummy handmade pieces as well as some Vintage item's. This will be a great opportunity to get some Christmas shopping done! We will have a little section set aside where you sit and have a nice cup of tea with home baked cake !
Vintage & Handmade Fair to be held on Saturday the 22nd of November 2008 at Rangeworthy Village Hall, near Chipping Sodbury, South Gloucestershire.10 a.m - 4.00 p.m.
I will be selling various Hand Made pieces. Here are a couple of Bird Box's that Mr N has made for me, I am hoping that I we can get some more made for the Fair.

I have to get on with my sewing now as I have a stall to fill....make a note in your diary...it will be a great opportunity to meet some bloggers and start the Christmas shopping.

Carol, what a surprise, thank you so much. I am so pleased to know this is what you think of my garden blog. Your garden has the same effect on me, I wish I had that butler sink! I do have a couple of trugs like yours though, good old Sussex ones. I do like the birdboxes, they should be very popular to buy as presents in readiness for nesting in the new year. Good luck with the fair, who knows I may be able to visit, but looks doubtful, anyway I would probably eat you out of cakes if I did! x

Oh thankyou so much, I really appreciate it! There are some amazing blogs out there so I'm very honoured. What a gorgeous book and I wish I lived closer to visit the fair. You live in such a beautiful part of the UK, if myself and hubby get a rare day or days ( we should be so lucky) we always head out your way......Claire x

ps
how's our Guy doing? Hound had her little op (spay) yesterday and Dr. Lawhon said she's the tiniest kitty he's ever spayed!
He wouldn't think she was so tiny if he ever had to peel her off his back, tho.

Hello Carol, what a lovely book. I so wish I was within reach of the fair. What a great idea - here's wishing you all a fabulous day when it arrives. I have just come back from Borders bookstore drooling over some great books. Picked up a lovely magazine which I'll be posting about later! p.s. love that shade of green you've painted your chairs. Is it the high gloss finish you use? I have spotted a dresser that I'd like to paint but it's covered in that awful orange varnish. Any tips on how to prepare it for paint would be gratefully received!

Oooh I just followed a link to your blog from another one and found this and have to say I shall be making every effort to get to this as I LOVE all things handmade (just wish I had more time to handmake some of my own things lol) so this would be ideal for me just before Christmas... must go and try to persuade T that a trip over there is necessary that weekend lol
