It has been a good week so far. A little bit of everything has been achieved. Prep's for Christmas and a little Christmas shopping. The decorating of the family room has started too.
Sorry to mention that word again The Fair! but I wanted to show you these lovely little tin's which I brought from Lynn @ Sea Angles.....

If you have the same problem I have, you may sympathise with me, numbering the kitchen cupboards may be a good idea, we shall see. The reason being that when Mr N. wants to find something in the kitchen I have to give very precise directions, almost down to the last Inch in order that he can spot whatever it is that he wants.
I was not going to lug my camera about on a shopping trip, which I always regret¬ but I did manage to find this image on the Internet to show you. I would have preferred to have taken my own as the shop looked wonderful all decorated ready for Christmas.
We spent most of the day in the Kings Road. It was cold, but refreshing to be out, rather than shopping inside Bluewater. The day was finished off in a very old little pub in Villiers Street by Charing Cross Station. The pub was dark inside lit mostly by candles and twinkling lights. When I return to the City I always feel quite at home. This is where I was born and my parents and their parents were born, lived and worked. We sat and enjoyed watching the world rush by, some running to catch trains and others laden with bag's of Christmas shopping. Mostly everyone, was wrapped up in a big coat and woolly hat. There was a good feeling in the atmosphere, like Christmas this year was going to be a less materialistic, one but a Special One.

I wanted an advent calender of some sort....I wish I had waited now, I saw this extremely long Advent Bunting at our local Farm Shop and bought it. I wish I had waited as in Cabbages & Roses I saw the lovely little Rusty Bucket one that I have on my sidebar!
The problem I have is where to put it for now.
We are decorating the family room, which is where I would normally hang it.
I have it draped, a bit messily! in my kitchen, not the best place for it to be.
Too cute to resist really!
I have been meaning to add some of the items I made for the Fair onto my Blog Shop.....as usual for me, just not enough time. I am writing this post in between painting the walls. So I will show you them on this blog and may get round to listing them at some other time, along with quite a few other bits we made.
