February And Family

F is for Freezing,
Families and Fun.
So far February has not been too glum.
For a long time I have wanted some Maileg Bunnies.
The pretty wooden furniture for them is gorgeous, well I think so.
This is Brother and Sister, no names yet, not has time to think of any.

Arn't they lovely.

I also bought two baby bunnies, this is little brother in his wooden pram.

Baby sister, in her wooden crib.
I will make a little patchwork quilt and crotchet blanket, someday!

Remember these two which I asked Periwinkle to knit for me ages ago.
I suppose you can say I have got a bunny thing going on here!
They are fun, oneday I may have a little girl who will love playing family with them.

Now my family.
Mum has settled in well at the home.
We are all really pleased with the care that is given.
The staff have been wonderful.
16 ladies  now live here just like one big family.
It was Mum's birthday on the 20th February so we organised a tea party for her.

Moi and my two daughters, Katie and Johanna.
All these photos were taken at the party in the Sun Lounge at the home.

My big soldier James and his little soldier Rocco, who will be three in June.

My sister Jackie holding Katies baby Jude who will be two in April,
James two boys, Freddie who will be four in June and Rocco.

My son-in-law Paul holding his baby Jude, married to my Kate.

Janice my cousin and her daughter Grace.
Paul and Katie.

Another cousin Norman talking to my sister Jackies boyfriend Malc and Johanna being cheeky!

It was a lovely day and so nice to get us all togther for Mum, sort of makes some normality in the home/

Me agian with Mr N....Nige and my son James.

My grandsons love to be togther and I love to see them togther.

Presents and cake.
Mum smiled but I am not sure she really knew what was happening.

We must not forget the monthly image of little tiny Bump.
Such a pretty Bump!

Well that is it for this month.
Family, nothing like it.
We all have our ups and downs.
Just have to make the most of every day.
And be there for eachother.
Carol

What a beautiful post, literally in spirit, and to look at. You are a beautiful bunch, ever thought about modelling for Jude, he is a cutie, they all are. My little Master Poppins is really enjoying the modelling now, he was a little shy at first but now seems to revel in it, he he and he is only 3 ;0)

Thank you for sharing a pretty and heartwarming post, your Mum looks lovely too.

That's a nice sunny conservatory and seating area. I can see your Mum is much loved. For you arranging the party, and for her to see all her lovely family will have meant the world to her, and to your Dad.

That bump is coming along very nicely, and I love the bunnies too. I agree, you really don't look old enough to have such grown up children! x

the home that your mum is in does look like a lovely place to live and that must make it a lot more reassuring for you knowing she is in a nice place and knownig that there are only 16 ladies must make it seem a lot more family orientated and friendly..

Dearest Carol...
SO lovely to see so many smiles.. and such a gorgeous family. You look just like your mum and your beautiful daughters and boy have their mum's great genes.
Little Jude is looking more and more cherubic...he has changed so much since I last saw him.
I am rather fond of those bunnies myself .. I think they definitely have a Rufus and Rosie look to them.
Much love from your friend in Bath
