Hmm, washing day...never on Monday (lol, my Mother always saved wash day for Wednesday, she said that's why it was called blue Monday and she wanted none of it.) So, when is wash day for me? Why, Wednesday of course!

I just lost my comment!! after all that typing. Baby boom is just starting on tele - I only watch it for the house and the baby! My husband is on recycling roadshows at the moment as our council has actually at last decided to roll out kerbside collection - he can't believe how many people arent interested in recycling yet. I just wish that the manufacturers would print the 1,2 or 3 on the plastic bottles so I didnt have to try and find my glasses each time. Like you I cannot stand the unnecessary packaging. My latest gripe is Smarties. I got a pack of three yesterday for the top of my cakes for the kids(!) and they now put the three tubes in a plastic cradle of wrapping before covering in a plastic wrapping - WHY??? it is simply not needed. They should be fined when they increase packaging. They dont care because its you and me that has to dispose of it not them. Anyway enough of that - chores to do........

I finally gave into the ironing today - I couldn't open the cupboard door without it all falling into the hall and we were running dangerously short of school uniform! Hope yours is all over and done with now

Hi,Ragged Roses,
In reply to your question.....no I have not finished it, I know, I have claimed on my profile to be a Domestic Goddess, (hubby says I am) but I am a very naughty one. I have hidden the rest of the ironing. Once I nearly emptied the basket, but then decided to throw away the remaining items of clothing because I was sick of the sight of them!

I hate my ironing to get out of control, I hate ironing full stop. I have just got one load done this evening, in anticipation for another load tomorrow! I sometimes don't feel like a domestic goddess, just a domestic! x
