I am sorry.
I did not expect to be sitting here ever so soon after Mum with news like this.
Yesterday Manya said please come back Carol.
I had to just get on here this morning, and do it.
Tears still falling.
The week before Easter I was feeling so much better.
I was happy and was thinking out in my head what to post.
A happy jolly post, a house post, a new room full of Roses.
But.
The Saturday before Easter my baby boy Guy Died.
Just over three years old.
He was always full of life, fun and cheekiness.
He injected so much life in this house which is now just flat, to me.
I cannot tell the whole story this morning as I have not the time, Katie is dropping the boys off soon.
I just had to post something quickly today.
To let you all know I am coming back.......
With love and fun and lots to look forward too, very soon.
I brought Guy home with me from the vet.
Wrapped in his blanket and looking as for all the world he was just asleep and soon would wake.
I cuddled him for about three hours as he slepted in his forever slumber.
Until I was able to let him go.
James came over Easter Sunday and we buried him
He now rests by the pond with his sister Maddy.
I love love love you little boy.
God Bless You.
All my love,
Carol
X

When our family dog die Carol many many years ago we had a special service for her and this poem was of great comfort. I hope you don't mind me posting but may bring some comfort to you too.
Big hugs to you
"Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together...."

Carol I am so sorry to hear your news - we have all known Guy with your blog and your wonderful adventures with the family. I know how you were and still are feeling about your Mam, as I was with my Dad in October. I am still raw and in disbelief that he has gone.

Carol, I have kept checking your blog hoping you would be back and worrying when you weren't but now to read this news is tragic. I remember when you blogged about Guy when you first had him and it was obvious how much you loved him. 3 years old is far too young to have died but what a joyous 3 years you had with him and he with you. Thinking of you. xx

My heart is broken Carol, I remember when you were around the clock trying to save our little Guy and I don't have the words to soothe your heart...just know that tears are in my eyes and in my heart...I felt as though he were mine, too...
