Mojo?

I wanted to say that I had got back my Mojo!

But I was not sure what a Mojo was.

So I Googled it and it is Voodoo, a power, a lucky charm..I have a lot of those! Troll Beads.

So it is a power...
Specifically one which gave the Mojo's male possessor a sexual power over women. But more recently, this has been extended to mean power or influence of any kind.

So now I am not sure if I have my Mojo back, painting mojo that is!
Anyway, I am over the moon with my latest paint job.

Oak cupboard gets the F&B treatment in Cornforth White.

So now how to fill the selves.

With a good looking pile of fabric.

A few jugs?
I'll think on this.

I thought you may like this idea.

Small wicker container painted white.
A salad basket!
I got mine from the local Plant Nursey, all ready for me to plant up.

This weather has been perfect for the salad leaves, they have really flourished.
In a whisper.......the slugs and snails have not managed to get in this basket. Yet!
I cut a few leaves to go with our steak and Royal Jersey new's on Saturday evening.

Why does home grown taste so much nicer.
So easy to grow these salad leaves as well.

I should have been doing this ages ago.

Now I feel just a little guilty about this purchase.

I said I was going to go to Cath's and buy a new needlework box in a recent post.

Well I did.
To hell with guilt!

And it was not cheap either.

But it is nice enough not to have to put it away, out of sight.

I must spend hours turning the pages of some wonderful soft furnishing books.
Another collection of mine!

I oooh and arrr, promise to make so much, rarely do.

I have painted two cupboards yesterday, one still not quite finished.

So F&B has had it's Mojo with me, again!

I have just returned from the local hardware shops..don't you just love an old fashioned hardware shop!

With Cornforth White to paint the nursery with.

And it does feel good.

Bye for now.

You have done a great paint job on the cupboard Carol. I really like your white wicker salad basket too. What a great idea! I think I should have one because my garden is plagued with slugs and snails.

The oak cupboard looks amazing, I have so much pine and dark wood furniture which I don't like must get round to painting it! In the town where I live we have a shop called relics it's an Aladdins cave of handles, specialist paints and traditional ironmongery. if you fancy checking them out there on the web at www.tryrelics.co.uk

I love that cupboard. Here in town is a Farrow and Ball store too, I have to visit it, I can see that. And those salad leaves look delicious. Have a great day!

That's it!- I'm going to find out where to get F&B on this island and then give two of my old kitchen cupboards the treatment.
Glad you've got your mojo back - the cupboard looks great.

I wish I loved painting as much as you Carol.. I would have finished my shelves that I started this morning.. and the bathroom.. and the front door.... the list goes on..
You have made a lovely job of that cupboard.. I am very fond of those softer colours..
I think I might try the same on a Breton cupboard that I have coming..
Lovely to talk to you today..
Hope things get better soon..
