Happy 2009 To All

A very happy, healthy and prosperous 2009 to us All...
Fingers and toes crossed!

No New Year Resolutions for me..
I see no point I never keep to them.

But I will try to enjoy the 'Moment'.......

And only think about the good things and move very quickly passed the horrible things in life.

I wish you all the best and may your cups overflow.
Love and Hugs,
Carol

I'm the kind of girl who is making resolutions all year long, cannot help myself! Happy and healthy 2009 to you and your beloved ones. I love your pictures in this post, very good start of the year!

And a very Happy New Year to you and your family too Carol. As for resolutions, I do try to have one, and that is to learn something new during the year, usually some sort of craft. Already got going with Punch Needle, so I think probably the next one will be rug making... It's a good resolution as you don't have to start on Jan 1.

I never did find out which oil you use for your smelly pine cones. I normally make a load of resolutions but this year - just the one ....

Hi Carol!
I started out with no resolutions but I have gained four pounds since T-day! I feel them. Mind you, I'm not thin....so they are weighing heavily on me! I swear I can barely button and zip up my jeans. I think it was all the cherry cordials that I ate. Oh, and the candied apples. The carmel popcorn probably didn't help matters either. The candy cane cookies were my downfall. Oh well, I'm just going to sit here and enjoy those extra pounds of sugar!

I love your pics! So beautiful.

Hugs,
Deanna :)

I love the pictures of your home Carol - homely and elegant. Happy New Year to you and your family. I think I am not going to be so rigid in my plans this year and to take things as they come!

A very happy new year to you too! I rarely make resolutions but when I do it is because I really feel I need to and then I usually manage to stick to them - I haven't made one yet this year (I don't always make them at New Year lol) but there's still time ;o)

Too right for the no-resolutions part!! Thay are only made to be broken!!! However I would like to eat less, lose weight, drink less, save some money, gosh I am getting depressed already!! x

I always get suckered in to making resolutions and fail to keep them instantly..especially the weight one, (usually made whilst eating my 367th Quality street) I think I should take a leaf out of your book and just get on with life!
These are gorgeous photos Carol..
Happy New year to you all..even though like Claire, I'm saying it twice!! x

I heard someone say that New Years Resolutions were always wishes for what we wanted, not actual life changes, so I made my first resolution, as a life change...I'm going to take better care of myself, and that's a promise to me...hope 2009 is as good to you as I intend it be to me...
hugs

Aargh! I was just taking a peek at you with Radio 2 playing Damien Rice's Cannonball. It does not [double underlined with red ink] play well as a duet with Coldplay [I'd much rather listen to CP] which is what you have on your music thingy.
